Hi,

I'll start asking for something, if I may

I was testing those two headphones and I don't like either:

Sennheiser HD 599: mine has "stethoscope effect" which drives me crazy when volume is low.
ATH-M50x: too uncomfortable to my ears after some time and I already own a Beyer 770, (I do like, though, the folding system, which is perfect for traveling)

I'll be mostly using them on my computer and LG v30, and listening to classical and rock music. Portable/foldable will be great. And if there's a good reason, I won't mind expending over 300.

Those are two very different headphones. Are you looking for an open or closed headphone?

well, both... open for general use and if I find a portable (foldable) closed one then I would buy it (for traveling/flying).

You might check out an HE400S and a SoundMAGIC HP151 and see what you think.
