Hey guys I am looking for a new pair of headphones. My ATH m50s are dying and I wanna try something new but similar. I also own a pair of SHP9500 which I love, but now that I'm in college I need another pair of closed back headphones. I listen to reggae, alternate rock, classical, jazz, and brass bands. My budget is around $200.
I have been looking at the DT 770 250 Ohms with a FiiO A3 amp, the momentums, SoundMagic HP100 if I can find them for sale, and  Shure SRH840. I am open to any and all suggestions or advice. Thank you for your time.

I wouldn't use the DT770 for Jazz. Just my personal preference. The Shure SRH840 is good but it can be a bit bland sounding and easily falls off your head so unless you are using it for home use I do not recommend it. Never heard the SoundMagic HP100 so can't comment on it. If you want to consider IEMs the Shure SE215 and the Dunu DN1000 are great choices.

Thank you for the information! I am not too found of IEMs because I wear headphones for around 4-5 hours a day. About the DT770 does it just not have enough detail to suit jazz?
