beyerdyanmic 770dts

audio technica ATH-M50 or ATH-D40fs

The Denon AH-D2000 as well as the Ultrasone HFI-780 seems to be very popular around here although I have yet to listen to them myself. Are you looking primarily for closed headphones?

Not saying better or worse then what you mentioned just adding to your list...

Equation Audio RP 21

Also I do not see much mention of them, and not saying they are better, nor worse then others mentioned here, but I recently picked up a pair of Audio Technica ATH A700's, and so far have been finding them very very comfortable, and they sound pretty decent.

You should know that the D2000's do not isolate very well. They are also going to have much less bass impact and probably going to be less ideal positionally for gaming.

It depends on what you want. If you're looking for comfort with good sound and a more laid back listening experience, get the D2000s. However, the HFI-780s have superior bass and isolation, and are geared for gaming. They are also cheaper, you can find them for $200 online.

Look in the 780 thread on the second page. There is a link to the site that has them for $200 shipped. It's kind of far back in the thread, though.
