I see that the battery model is BP-2X.
Now I have a player that uses one such battery. Problem is, back in that time (early to mid 90's), rechargeables were lead-acid (right?). So is it safe to charge a Li-ion battery in a vintage CD player (D-25 or D-555 or mine), which has a charging circuit designed for a lead-acid?
Or do you (or anyone) sell an independent charger?
I have asked around before with no definitive answer.

Thank you very much.

These are a direct replacement for the stock battery, charge just fine and I have been selling them for over 2 years now with no issues. I only have a very small amount of these left and will be gone in no time. I use to have 100s made for me by a company. The last time I tried to have another 200 made they doubled the price and min order so I will not be having any more made.

Thanks
Ken

Bumping an old thread, I just purchased the D-25s and said battery from your company. Is it normal for the battery to just last an hour and a half on a full charge, with the volume dial at 2?
