Anyone heard the ALO copper vs. Moon Audio Black Dragon used on AKG 701 phones?

Bump....interesting question. Very few in-depth impressions on recabled 701's.

i think there are more than a handful of comments about black dragon K701s, all positive. i would be in that camp as well. but finding someone who has heard both of the cables you list may prove difficult.

True...to the OP, from what I have read, I think only one member has the ALO modded 701; and one more is on order.

I just received the ALO modded K701. I had not heard the K701 before, I got these on a whim. I really like them, without burn in or even a proper headphone amp. Once I burn them in and get my amp back I will take time to A/B them against my K1000 and HD650. The K701 may just find its place between the two.
