Has anybody used or using this combination. Will the amp drive them to their full potential.

Planar Headphones are really hard to drive. I don't know if The Continental V2 has the power to drive them either.
 
Sure The Continental V2 is a great amp with excellent sound signature and powerful strength, but keep in mind that these Planar Headphones are also power-hungry beasts.
 
The single-digit Headphones from Hifiman, such as the HE5 and the HE6, are usually harder to drive than the HE400 or the HE500.
 
I suggest that you take a look at the EF5 from Hifiman. The EF5 is a powerful full-size tube amp. Although it may not be that portable, but the size is already pretty small compared to other amps that are used to drive Planar Headphones.
