Hello to all Head-fiers ...
I know this could be a highly touchy subject, but given the reputation and status of these amps within the community, it would be really interesting to gather comparisons, thoughts, impressions on exclusively these two fantastic amps.
By this time, my main cans (AKG K701) are - well - mid fi at best, so pairing of these with these respective amps could be somewhat interesting as well...
I do not mean to turn this thread into "this amp is definitely better than the other one", that is not my intention at all, I just feel that it would be interesting to gather as much information about how these two possibly differ sonically.
I do not find SE vs. balanced debate of huge importance here due to one detail one of the members mentioned as an answer to the "why not balanced" question about Studio Six, for me it is a non-issue in this context.
As I stated before, I would like this thread to focus on how these to differ sonically.
