Hey there, Does anyone know why the lack of reporting on the new ALO & Cypher Labs products @ RMAF. Strange I thought for sure the solo was going to shake up the industry but not a mention on any blog that i can find. I did inquire in another thread and the response was the Solo sounded very good and did nothing unusual to the sound, not the rave I was expecting.

There were plenty of folks listening to the set up and all were wowed, I guess none are the posting types? As for the sound, its clearly better than a iMod. I dont know what more "unusual" it has to be if it bests a imod set up? All this will come out in the wash... just need to get the product shipping and into the hands of customers first.

We only had one Solo (wish we had many to go around), but I hope those who listened to it will post their impressions soon enough.  It was awesome when Alex of Audeze came up to Room 8012 with his iPad connected the Solo and fed the the coax output to the Isabella with dac.  He composed some amazing electronica and played it in the home audio system - it was sweet!

Thanks again for all that came to the show and gave a listen!

All the best,

Vinnie

Attention Head-Fi members !!!  Try to relax and have patience. Ken Ball never disappoints ! ! ! !

Mark,

Watch it or I will have to send you free stuff  Seriously I hope it all gets ironed out ASAP. We are working on a killer amp bag for the Rx Mk2 ipod as well as one for the Rx Mk2/Solo/iPod.

Please bear with us folks.
