My sister wants new earphones but she wants the cheapest she can get. She will buy online but her budget is $25USD max including shipping.
So, any recommendations? I recommended the JVC Marshmellows, is there any better in that price range? SQ isn't much of a worry, but they
be used for sleeping, so comfort is a high priority. I appreciate any and all help/recommendations.

Use earphones for sleeping? Why not just get earplugs?

If money wasn't a problem I've heard the Westone 1s are really comfortable. Otherwise, the Marshmellows are a nice (cheap) option. You may also want to look into the meelectronics ai-m9, probably the best all around earphone you can get for the price (once again, so I've heard).

some people are able to sleep with their iem's on and having music playing. i've done that before when i had earbuds or cheap sony iem's.

Just get some Marshmallows and Kramer mod them. I got mine for $15 off ebay shipped. The Kramer mod really helped, but I gave them away after I got some S4's.

I'd rather sleep in AirCushions than Marshmallows. Soundmagic PL30s are pretty flush as well.
