Haven't pulled one of these in quite awhile. Kinda nice to stay up and greet the dawn, particularly as beautiful as it's been in Seattle lately. Unusual for me, but I'm in too good a mood to want to sleep... one of those rare days today where everything just seems right with the world. Maybe it's all the sunshine burning away the S.A.D. I usually get in the wintertime. Sometimes for no reason at all, the weight of all the worries just... vanishes like it never existed, and it feels like everything's just taking care of itself as it should be. Will probably be dozing on the couch today though, provided it's not too hot (high of 81 predicted, scorching for Seattle this time of year... heck, 75 feels pretty darn warm to me).

Enjoy the weekend, everyone...

Keep the news turned off and catch up on Monday, let someone else worry about the world's problems for a couple days.

Heheh, I'm doing that too because my husband and I both have colds...I blame him since he got it first.

He's snoring like you wouldn't believe, but since he's able to sleep then he should sleep. I'll be the nightowl and sleep when he gets up. Yeah, I'm really sensitive to sound and he sounds like a train even with NRR33 earplugs.

It doesn't help that I'm a nightowl by nature, and that the sun is going down at 10pm or so, and coming up at 2am. Midsummer is almost here... but then it's all downhill from there.

It's 06:15 am here. I just got home after starting work at 5:45 pm yesterday. I watched the sun go down and come back up while at work. It was nice night though. And this morning the thunder heads that were developing on the other side of the mountain are all gone, and there were just some wispy clouds here in the home valley this morning. Made a nice sunrise. Plus it was my last trip going that direction, so I ended a 5 year run on a nice night. Maybe tomorrow I will start my new run, going the opposite direction. Today I will lounge around and maybe the wife and I will take a trip by car over the mountain and bring my car home from over there.

Nice thread fewtch, thanks for starting it.

Ha, I did this last night, well actually this morning, but I did it from the comfort of my bed as I listened to some tunes. Got home from work at 0100 and could not sleep, so I packed up my photo gear for my trip to Washington, D.C. this week, did a little reading, and watched the sun come up (I did doze off for an hour or two later this morning). Anyway, I'm off to Boston to see Dido in concert tonight, and then on to D.C. for a week. I need a vacation!

All-nighters? You mean there is another way to write a paper?

Actually, I'm quasi pulling them now. I work a crappy factory job at 4am again this summer, I need to get a new job ASAP, but for now this is all I've got.
