How to make a Y all male 3.5 jack i am going to change the basic cable from sol republic. it might be weird for some but please i want to learn, and that is just my first non gaming headset

which previously broke please help

so to give you idea here is the picture (please forgive my photo and photoshop level: god)

1. is that possible?
2. how to create one?
3. if i just buy two pair of 3.5 jack and cut one and open the other one to make Y jack would that work?

looking forward for your ideas tnx in advance

Well first off, you're sending a stereo signal to each output. Since this is for a pair of headphones, you should use stereo to dual mono jacks. Aside from that, if you wanted, you could probably just buy cables/adapters from radioshack that would do the job, but if you're looking to create a cable from scratch, you'll want to look in the DIY Cable questions/comments thread.
