Probably a silly paranoid question.

But I simply cant get the Flac.exe to work in EAC.

this suggested code does not work.

-V -8 -T "artist=%a" -T "title=%t" -T "album=%g" -T "date=%y" -T "tracknumber=%n" -T "genre=%m" %s

Invalid replacement tag found.

So do you think Freerip will be just as good quality as the internal one with EAC?

Thanks

If you check the examples at http://wiki.hydrogenaudio.org/index.php?title=EAC_and_FLAC you can see that the syntax is a little different depending on which version of EAC you use. Make sure you are using the correct syntax and it will work.

My recollection of installing any recent version of EAC is that it configures this for you, so perhaps you're using an old version? If so then you can start over with the latest version and let it autoconfigure.
