So im thinking about purchasing some MS-1's and i'm just wondering if anyone has had any hands on experience with the 'improved' version. If so, what are the differences between the two and is it worth the extra 10$?

I checked the Alessandro homepage and couldn't find the "improved" version. Where did you find it?

If the improvements are anywhere near the improvements on the Grados (more bass, more soundstage), then I'd say yes, it's worth it.

Since the MS1 is based on the SR80, then the improvements found on the SR80i will be found (and maybe improved some more) in the improved MS1.

it's in print on their webpage. it shows up as if it were an option. It's at the bottom of the ms1 text, where you add to cart.

Right under the MS1's theres two options for checkout, the originals for 100$ and the "improved version" for 110$

Okay so I just got off of skype with an Alessandro rep and the "improved" versions are the sr125i drivers but with the Alessandro modifications. Purchasing a pair as we speak.

Okay, CMOY is made and the distances mod is being considered. If i do decide to go through with it expect lots of pictures and a nice review.
