Wow I just did a big time impulse buy, and ordered a new pair of these bad boys. Have been dieing to get a pair and have been waiting patiently. Sitting at work looking at them online I just somehow clicked add to shopping cart, and put in credit card info.

This was really the last thing I should be doing right now. I'm supposed to be saving money for college, yet I just bought a corda move and now the MS2i's.

I feel like major crap right now.

Someone please cheer me up, this is all your fault headfi!!

That feeling of "I shouldn't have bought this" will go away as soon as you receive them and give them a listen.

When I first got my MS-1, I felt terrible for spending 100 on headphones (my first good pair), but loved them as soon as I got them.

well, look at it this way:

you have some decent but lower-level headphones
you are still reading HeadFi, so...
you think the SR-60 and KSC75 are not final headphones for you
you were bound to be spending more money. So relax,
you could easily have spent your money on something worse!

honestly, the MS2i is a very good headphone and you will enjoy it I think!

Well; something that MIGHT help to make you feel better is the fact that you paid a hundred bucks LESS for your MS2i than I did for mine.

If it feels that bad, you're making a mistake. Saving for college? If you're in high school and you're not a trust fund baby, you probably shouldnt be buying 300- headphones just yet.

At least you will be putting that move to some good use. I don't think the sr60 or ksc75 deserve it

I'm feeling better about it.

I just had a really bad day which is why I prob bought them, and at the same time made me feel even crappy afterwards.

Its really not that big of a deal that I got them I'm just trying to show some self control, I have been doing amazing with concerts this summer and cutting back. But this just had to be done. I can enjoy this purchase for a very very long time. I have been dieing for a good set up. I'm working hard, so I got one. I'll be good to go till I'm out of school.

Now time to go enjoy my move for the time being.

Dave
