Hello, despite my username..I have no affiliation with grado labs, i'm just a huge fan of theirs. Anyways, I'm new here and from what I've read on various threads, there seems to be close similarities between these two headphones. Basically people say the MS1 is the sr-125 w/ slight mods for the price of the sr60 or sr80. Can someone compare the two from a specs perspective? Thank You.

MS1 specs:
Transducer type:Dynamic
Operating principle:Open air
Frequency response:20 - 22K Hz
SPL lmV:100
Nominal impedance:32 Ohms
Driver match db:0.1
Price:$ 99.00
SR125i specs:
Tranducer type
dynamic
Operating principleopen air
Frequency response20-20
SPL 1mV98
Normal impedance32ohms
Driver matched db.1

Both have these features:
  1. * Vented diaphragm
    * Non resonant air chamber
    * UHPLC voice coil wire
    * Standard copper connecting cord
Just for a used SR225i or new MS1 IMHO. These are the best deals in the SR line.
