It was just announced. See here [NYTimes]. Also straight from the source here. Presenting the award is fact which is all I'm trying to do here. Lets not turn everything political (by Head-Fis standard) and this thread into a backwards fight over personal beliefs that will get shut down. Deal?

Actually - I just read that he won the Nobel Peace Prize.

How does this further world (or any) peace?

Man I'd kill for a Nobel peace prize...

I don't correlate Al Gore's global warming related cause and the Nobel Peace Prize together too well. Especially when I look over previous winners and what they did and how it relates to what the Peace Prize is all about.
