They have refurbished K3003 for 910$, can't imagine they would sell N5005 too cheap.

You gotta check both (Samsung and AKG both have refurbished sites if I’m not mistaken) frequently. They will fluctuate in price. I forget if I paid 200 or 400 for my pair. But I did see it for 200.

How is the resolve of N5005? I've seen the recent price drops and it's insane. It makes me interested in this IEM, its frequency response curve seems very balanced to me, but I don't know how well it resolves and how well it performs in the soundstage?

And immediately sells out within minutes. I guess they are only dropping a few at a time to generate site interest as the price shows up on deal sites like slickdeals. I doubt they are making new ones.

You can set up a deal alert on slickdeals.net for AKG and get an email when they show up again. That's how I got mine. You just have to be quick.

No, My advice is to stick with Original Cable and get it RMA

I just got my unit in. Even for $250 after fees, I wasn't particularly impressed

If anybody is on the fence about buying it next time it is on sale, pull the trigger! AKG customer service was very quick and helpful when I had to deal with some shipping problems.

Technically they’re still strong IMO. They don’t see much use, however, since I’m not a huge fan of the sound signature.
