Hey all,

I have a version of a Home-Vibe amp, and it powers my AKG501's reasonably well. If it can do that, can it also drive a pair of DT880s? Also, would a pair of Sennheiser HD650's run well with it?

I've searched and looked at many threads, but I don't know too much about amps and couldnt find a definitive solution

IMO they're about equally difficult to drive. The K501 is easier in the sense of pure volume (i.e. requires a bit lower volume on the amp than DT880) but needs some serious drive to have good bass and dynamics. I think it's pretty much a tossup, but K501 will require more current and a home-vibe is not ideal because it's unbuffered. DT880 will probably be better with an unbuffered amp. I've listened to both with a home-vibe/go-vibe and both are on the thin side.
