After quite a few J.R. Hartley moments, I've managed to source some UK manufactured Mini XLR (TA3F) to 3.5mm adapters for AKG headphones
(K7XX - K701 - K702 - Q701 - K712 - 65th Annie's)

These are for anyone wanting to pair AKG headphones with the V-Moda BoomPro, or an aftermarket 3.5mm male to male cable.

Quoted at £18

I'm not affiliated with these guys.
So you can sort out the finer details with them.
I just wanted to source these adapters in the UK as I was concerned about the small chance of something going wrong when ordering from the US to the UK & any associated returns.
This gives UK/EU buyers the added peace of mind of it being closer to home if things don't work out.

Just to have all available options in one place, these are also available from Mimic Cables in the US

For some odd reason these adapters are hard to come by, so I thought I'd share this here to save others going down as many dead ends as I have.
Feel free to mention this thread when ordering.

Just wanted to say thank you to GVNMIIN for this post. I bought some 712's a while back, wanted a Boompro but it was after ZombieX's testing had been put on hold and I wasn't aware of any other options out there.

Anyway, I ordered one of these from Electronic Music Services recently (not affiliated, purely went with them as the price quoted was cheaper!). Haven't had chance to use the adapter much since getting it, but works perfectly and seems good build quality. A few shots for anyone interested.

Sorry to bump such an old thread, but does anyone know of a current supplier selling these for a reasonable price? The two in the OP don't list them on their sites, and the second has changed name and wants £60 to make one custom....

Edited original post to fix some formatting errors that had occured since original posting.
Removed the second link as mentioned in post #5. Zero help at the time.
Mike @ Electronic Music Services sorted my adapter at the time and was great to deal with.
It's still going strong, whilst the Boompro has long since bitten the dust.

I've moved from the boom pro to the beyerdynamic custom headset microphone.

The microphone quality is definitely better, and the build quality is MILES better:
