So, after many years i've got back my AKG K7xx. I've been missing their amazing sound (still burning in).
But unfortunetly, I can tell that my ASUS Xonar STX II is unable to amp those cans well.

I'm looking for a good DAC-AMP. my budget is about 200$.
I've been looking on the Magni 3 but i've been told that STX II has a better amp actually.

Are you using Mac or PC. ?

Do you like having a volume knob?

If you use Mac, and like a Volume knob, then run directly to the Apogee One.
Sounds great, powerful, has a fine volume control.
