AKG K272 HD vs AKG K271 Mk. II vs Shure SRH940?

Would be grateful for you to post your impressions here even if you've only heard 2 of the 3 headphones mentioned in the thread title.
How does the K272 HD compare to the older K271 Mk. II - does it have the same sound signature but just does everything a bit better?
And how do either the K272 HD or K271 Mk. II compare to the new Shure SRH940 - from what I've read they might all be on the cold/bright side of neutral - but how do they compare to each other in midrange, treble and bass?
Thanks alot in advance for your responses!!

AKG are mostly neutral. Soundstage varies.
    The 940's are:
    Not sharp
    Amazing Soundstage. Airy
Bass isn't poweful, but detailed and clear
    Mids are nicely detailed
Comfort is good if you're not one to bother with the headband.
Why? They are more bright with a large soundstage. Colored, not really. The bass extension makes up for the brightness.
