AKG K271S vs ATH A900

which one is more detailed, clear?


oh and can the A900 be useful for monitoring? never asked that yet

A900 is significantly more detailed. The K271 is a "Studio" monitor, but isn't recommended by AKG for "Hi-Fi" (see PDF on site). You decide how much or little to make of that. Personally, I was very disappointed with them and muddiness was one of the issues.
