Separate names with a comma.
You're correct. It hasn't been confirmed or not.
I don't believe they will use the same driver. But let's see.
"Like a bassier K550" sounds just too good to be true... that'd be awesome.
My father is really, really into Tiesto. He and his wife flew to vegas just to see him a few weeks back. So I am really hoping these work out.... I already bought a bunch of Tiesto on CD and made it into lossless files. I got him an E10 and am just waiting for these babies to hopefully be better than just a name.
They're much much better than just a name (at least the K167, so I just expect the K267 to be even better).
So can anyone define the differences between the K167 and K267? Or can someone state why the 267 would be preferable to the 167?
Check page 4 of this thread. Towards the bottom, I outlined the differences between the two.
Will K267 overthrown V-Moda M100 out of competition?
I hope so, because I'm not going to audition the M-100s. After the spectacular K167s all I want is to get the K267s and say goodbye to head-fi for quite some time.
i wonder how does this compete with something like the Momentum
Better for sure.
I personally hated the Momentums, would pay half their price tops so hope these AKGs would fit my personal taste better. But everything said so far about the AKGs seems like they are entire different kind of sound.
These look interesting but not portable. Does anyone know if their removable cable connector is proprietary or not. I would only be interested in these if I could get a portable size cable, preferably one with the iPhone controls and MIC.
Lucky for you, I have checked both those things.
They are portable - big, but not too much larger than the M50's in size. I used my M50's for two years as my go-to portable can, since they folded flat, and could be worn easily around my neck. This one does the same thing.
I checked with AKG service, and the connector is a 3.5mm jack on both ends of the cable. I also plan on getting a new portable cable once I get mine.
If you could help me find the best cable for me, I'd be really grateful. 1.2m, one white cable and one black, highest quality possible.
If you're going to change the cable, go for silver. Chris Himself's Silver Dragon cable has the best ratio price/performance. They're simply outstanding. $75 or so. Ask Chris.
