I have seen AKG K1000 without any numbers on it, true. Is this kind of rare or just normal

They are like 7 years old, that's what been told to me, so I am a bit confuse.

Anybody who knows more of it.

Maybe the headband was replaced as the serial is stamped into it, a new one would not have it. That's the only reason I can think of.

Hmmm... Both sides have same K1000 logo, that is it.

They're not K1000s, just the drivers that AKG manufactures for them.

I still suspect they are generic replacement parts for broken headbands. The repair center would have no way to add the serial.

I don't think the plate comes off, as far as I can see it's part of the molding. Still, it's officially a unique K1000, one of a kind

You could try asking the AKG guys at their website forum. If anyone will know, it's them.
