Well its official, my AKG's have been blessed by Mickey...I so hate Disney...but I got the left earspeaker replaced (looks like AKG did a full scan on the right one to be safe too) and it says here plain as the eye can see, AKG K1000 earspeaker, Disney Version!

Supposedly theres a Disney attraction that uses headphones. They contracted AKG to make the phones for that ride / attraction. Drivers of choice have been rumored to be K1000 drivers.

Seems to be quite a costly driver to use no?

If that is the case, then I doubt AKG would stop production of these drivers... so maybe they will throw them into another can eventually?

just sent my brother an email... hes a disney collector and an ACE member (A roller coaster club)... asked him if he knew anything about this or if he could list all the disney attractions that use headphones or small speakers close to the ears.
