AKG 26-p vs. 81-dj

I admit....i could not read all 249 pages of Official akg 81 thread!

I like my 26-p...the sound, the comfort, size, isolation, etc. And I know I may be in the minority on this.

I was thinking of upgrading to the AKG 81-dj, but i was looking for a side by side comparison in terms of size, weight, foldability, etc. And of course the sq.

anyone follow this same path? also i noticed on HeadRoom that the 26-p are discontinued...awaiting a new model??...or maybe just keeping the 27's.

Yes, but the "new" model is just a redisigned k26p with no sq or comfort differences. It's called k414p, afaik.
