I know that the Mobius AKG cable improves the 271S but does it upgrade the 240S?
The zu people (can't resist) don't seem to know but guess that it would.

Yes it does! I ahve tried it myself, albeit for only a short while. If you really like the K240S sound then it is a good investment, however if you are expecting it to make them leaps and bounds better, then you would be better off saving your money to by different cans.

More detail, more realisitic bass, just a more "alive" feeling to the sound overall.
