Whatever mild tuning they do, the Blue note if the price drop tremendously, u should take it. The 380 is a smoother, more forgiving (to music files) than the raw, honest 240. As for the 1 on the right, added Low level details are there (to the trained ears)...

Thats a better idea. Please note, its not that powerful. For IEMs & if u don't mind the weight, then you're Good to go...

Personally, i'd be skipping the SP1K+amp route altogether. My 240 is my EDC. It's tough not to be w/o this small device w/ analytical, Clear & really large 'stage. For daily routines, i carry in my backpack my personal PC + its power supply, other knick knacks, etc. So anything that adds weight, anything at all, i really consider them. The SP2K is worth (due to its less weight, single device) holding horses...

Yes, why Not? 380 = Forgiving, smooth. 240 = Unforgiving, Raw. will depend on your preferred signature. Thereby you could complete your portable chain by getting the Excellent CA Solaris...

IMHO there no difference in SQ, but AK380 offers excellent compatible accessories range. Still best range on the market. As result it is very comfortable to use for any task you can imagine.

the M is a better 240 in terms of brightness presentation, whilst the 1000 is the more holographic presenter. bet the SS & Cu versions of the 1k, the former is the neutral & warmer (better body on voice) of the latter....
