Ak Jr or XDP-100R or any other DAC for around the same price (First DAC)
 
Which one should I buy? And if the Ak jr wins, should I buy a used one for 120 US less? Thanks

I believe you meant DAPlayer instead of DAConverter...
If your priority is sound, the ak jr and the xdp100r will not be your go to. 
You can turn your eyes toward those Chinese "bricks" such as fiio x5, dx90, shanling m5, or cayin n5. You can also try the l&p l3 if you are looking for a balanced output. I believe you can find reviews of all these products. 

If you can raise you budget a little, my personal favorite out of those bricks is the cayin i5 ($499 on amazon), I can go into the details if you are interested

Well let's be honest the dp-x1 is basically the same thing as xdp-100r (they even look the same)

If you want the balanced output you should go with the l&p l3/l3pro for their great 2.5mm balanced output (much better than their 3.5).
For a cheaper option you can also try the new aune m1s. It also has a 2.5 balanced and it's probably the best bang for the buck at its price level.

If you want balanced output unfortunately the dx90 does not have one.
I recommend the new aune m1s, for it's, if not best, one of the top in its price range.
