This is interesting to me....... A pcdp with a wireless remote!!

Now the most important thing is sound... Does anyone hear own this and actually like this?

I really dont intend to buy it but that is a feature I would love to have on which ever discman I end up buying

By the way did any of you guys win that d 77 on ebay? I tried to bid but couldn't keep up wi th winner. It may sound paltry but I could only go to $110 when I factor in my shipping and that it would cost me $ 50 just to get the money order to the seller!!!

Anyway back to this. Any of you own and like/hate this aiwa?

IN FACT I HAVE NEVER SEEN A RECOMMENDED AIWA ON THIS SITE!!!!!

D :-)

More like none of us have never had access to one?

Unless you want us to make up blabber about things. The last Sony PCDP with wireless remote was like in 93-94, too

That's right. None of us has ever had access to one.

That aside, the only currently available PCDPs that have a wireless remote control AFAIK are all car-kit-equipped models from Panasonic.

I guess that's understandable that this model (even brand perhaps ) is not widely used by the wider head fi community.

But what about Aiwa in general. Any recommended models by this brand?

I have XP-3 and XP-7 but they haven’t got wireless remotes.

XP-3,5,7 are the best Aiwa PCDP ever.
XP-7 has optical and line out, powerful amp and super duper mega bass.
The only problem is with the battery; uses same as old Sony players BP-EX2.
