If the HeadWize forums go back up, I'll be sure to make a post in the general forums there about Head-Fi's existence. It's a shame to think that there may be HeadWize regulars who don't know about Head-Fi.

Also, when I bugged Chu through email he told me about HeadFi.

I think it's fair to say that there is a very strong presence of HeadWize in discussions all over Head-Fi. A search for the keyword "HeadWize" on Head-Fi brings over 16 pages of search results.

And when we put up other pages (front page, link pages, etc.), I'm sure there will be links to HeadWize.

I had no other cue to this places existance other then a link to a discussion on HeadWize, and a e-mail from Neruda. Which without, I wouldnt've been able to find it.

My AKG K401s should be here in a few days, too. So in a week or so, expect a nice long review.

Glad you decided to try out the K401's, I hope they're everything I told you they are. They certainly are to me.

You know, a lot of people said the K401s were for me (even Todd at HeadRoom thought so). But a lot of people said I was mad, and I should find some used HD580s. I'm too impacient. I'm sick of listening to what other people think about a specific headphone, too. I listened to the reviews with the Grado SR80s, and I loathed them. So, we'll see what happens.

If I hate them, I can send them back. So all is well.

I don't really think that the HD580 is a good rock headphone, so I think you made the right choice in that regard.
