Thanks everyone. In the past for the Senn pad suggestion for making my Grado SR-80's sound much better and now for the Beyer pad replacemnt for making my V6's feel like heaven. Did the switch about 10 minutes ago and these are sooo nice. Anyone with a pair of the Sonys should consider picking up a pair of the pads. Definitely worth the $20 and 5 minutes of trouble.

Nothing can match the smoothness of velour pads. I love mine on my Beyers.
