omg.. yes... my sr60s came today, and i'm loving every minute of this.

Very satisfying headphone. sound very good with acid/nujazz. with some rock like thrice they sound pretty good too. i'll burn them in overnight and wash the earpads. i'll have a good listen before i cut those quarter-sized-holes in the pads...

there is more impact out of my soundcard than with my karma, even though it the sound is better straight out of the player with my other headphones.

and tempur-pedic pads, too...

All i have for EQ is the default settings with

works pretty well.

Yup, that's definitely the EQ setting you would use with sr60
That said, I don't use the EQ at all, I'd like to just let headphones sound as is.

If I ain't happy, then another set I go

That's why I am planning to part with the SR60 and go with higher end stuff at the end of the summer.

I'm currently ampless so I can't listen to my favorite headphones, so I fell back on my old pair of SR-60s. I'm still amazed at how nice they sound =). Congrats on your new phones!

Oh yeah, if you're gonna cut a hole, I recommend a little bigger than a quarter-size. Actually, I just cut it the size of the whole speaker/driver thing and it sounds great. Just a suggestion though!
