AH-A100 and AH-D1100 are the same except............

The wood, the pads have the same ref number and the cables are the same.
The source was Charles Hyde and sons (denon official spares supplier).
£400 is a big mark up for some wooden shells!

Interesting, woody cans are generally more expensive.

Heaphone > sum of parts. You don't expect to get a drastically different more pimped up driver just cos you pay more. :P

I cannot believe that A100 has the same driver as D1100.
I have the A100 since yesterday and they sound beautiful, not such a driver from a LowFi headphone. But I never heared the D1100 and believe they sound so detail.
