As you can see, Hifiman's support is totally and utter bs. They are trying to price gouge for repairs instead of allowing you to purchase parts separately off their website like they used to (where they will charge 2-4x more for a repair of headband for a more expensive headphone (such as their HE-6) even though lesser expensive headphones (such as the HE-400's) sport the same exact headband.
