I'm kinda of new to Amp/Headphone matching. Right now I'm listening the AO2 with the new pads. I love that combo by the way! Using the balanced cable I bought from Dan with my Bifrost2 and Jot2. Love it! Tremendous to say the least. I have a tube amp. and it's specs show

Impedance:100k ohm. Is this a good fit for my wonderful cans?

That's a relief! I thought I they must have left out a decimal point. Like I say, I know what I like in sound, but I no nothing about the science behind the sound.

Finally got my Hart Audio cables for the A2C Noire today (charcoal gray, 45" cables + interconnects). Great system, love the shorter length and cable is really flexible. It was worth the wait. Still very happy with the Noire by the way.

How do these compare is technical capabilities to the Ananda and/or the LCD2f? For detail retrieval, resolution, that sort of thing? I am not so concerned with tonality as I software EQ, only reason the LCD2f sounded right. I want to consider these or the Aeon RT as they are lighter and wont be as uncomfortable as the Audeze and Ananda were to me. Just hoping they are as technically capable.

I wouldn't call it night and day but it was significant enough for me to have sold the RT but kept and love the A2C as my main portable pair. On the RT, I found the highs too piercing and the soundstage too narrow.

I've been listening to these all week as my desk setup. They're really wonderful!

I owned the first gen Aeon Closed, and although I don't have them to test side-by-side (they're in the office, locked until COVID passes), I much prefer the Aeon 2's! It strikes me as a _really_ noticeable improvement. Highly recommended

I ended up getting the Noire just for the color.

How is the aluminum yoke joined to the 2 nitinol wire? İs it glued on or joined with screw? Anyone got detailed picture of this?
