Good day, Ive been using this forum for most of the information before I buy almost anything with regards to audio.

Im currently caught in between on either buying an amp for my se535 red or upgrading my J3 to the AK 100II. Would appriciate all the inputs with regards the two..

And if by any chance I should just keep my J3 whats a good amp(if needed) to work with it?

I just bought my se535 red and am enjoying it.

Only if you are tired of the Cowon J3 interface should you get the AK100 II. The only real upgrade is the build quality and stand-alone DAC.

Am happy with j3 atm, the only problem or just too lazy to figure out how yo make use of the playlist. So, sound qulaity wise there isnt a big diffrence between AK100 and j3? Coz I got the chance to compare Ak jrs and AK100 and it seems to have a big diffrence but forgot to compare it to j3..

Am looking forward to buy those ALO.. Im thinking to save up a bit more and get th national+ seems to be more promising..

There is an improvement in sound quality, but not enough to justify the price difference. I heard the AK100 II with many setups at CanJam @ RMAF last year and compared it to my J3, and felt that build quality and stand-alone DAC gave the AK100 II the biggest advantages to justify the price difference, with interface being a little better. I think any ALO amp would be better money spent in your case. BTW, thank you for your undivided attention.
