Hello guys,
Tomorrow i am going to buy my first headphones and i need some advice.
I mainly listen to Hardstyle/House so i need some good bass.
I also want them to fit tight cause my head size is smaller than average. And they don't have to be portable.
My source is going to be my computer.

And my budget is MAX 200$

Thanks!

Thanks, what do you think about Q40?

I've never heard them or seen them discussed here on Head fi, so I'm guessing they don't have as strong of a reputations as the others I've listed.

Of the ones I've listed I'd probably go with the Beyer DT770, unless you can find a set of the denons for cheap.

I'm a hardstyle fan and I find M-Audio Q40 to be PERFECT for this genre but you need to pick up a basic amp for them too as they improve a lot with amping (otherwise I find the bass to be somewhat lacking and the dynamic range seems to be a bit flat/unexciting so it's not that exciting to listen to without amp but it changes a lot with amp), maybe something like FiiO E11 for example. digiZoid ZO2 would be a good match too but it costs $100 though.

Q40 is like listening to a pair of $200 KRK monitors that most people use for HS production. Q40 sounds like it's what you want as long as you amp them, they have above average clamping, the stock pads aren't the best and very shallow (I stuffed extra padding underneath the pads to make them deeper => improved soundstage noticably). You won't find better significantly boosted bass quantity/quality with superb bass extension to boot than this below $200.

OK thanks,
anyone else has to recommend any other headphones?

The M-audio Q40 with digiZoid ZO2 cost 215 off amazon.I guess i could spend another 15$ if its worth it

I use ZO2.1 myself and I've also got ZO2.3 that they are selling atm (cuz I'm a fan of this device), I personally prefer ZO2.1 and wish they could have sticked to this config. I also heard of some1 noticing distortion with M-Audio Q40 + ZO2.3 but I couldn't notice anything despite playing very loudly (unsafe levels) but I prefer using ZO2.1 cuz it adds more punchy bass though, on ZO2.3 it's softer in the impact (not a night and day difference, just a small difference). I hear FiiO E11 delivers plenty of punch in the bass but to me it has one major design flaw and that is it can't be used while charging which ZO2.3 can and the E11 has a bit more neutral sound signature while ZO2.3 has somewhat colored (slight warmth to it) but I feel it fits perfect with these headphones.

M-Audio Q40.

And I wouldn't even get the ZO, I would just equalize it a little to your taste and be done. Maybe add a Xonar DG to your computer for $30 for a touch of amplification that will cover it.

Very best,
