I need to get new headphones, and could use some advice. What I'm looking for are durable (most important part) on/over ear headphones with good sound quality that aren't too bass heavy. I don't really care how good they look, in fact I'd prefer them to look plain, so there is a smaller chance of them getting stolen. My price range is 30 to 90 dollars, but if they are like 95, that would be fine (over a hundred is pushing it). Any suggestions?

Maybe you can get a used Sennheiser HD-25II within your budget (but don't fall for the SP version). Very durable and decent sound quality. Plus parts are available and easily changed in case something breaks...

Maybe check out the Sony ZX700. Some people say they're better than the MDRV6's. I have a pair and think they sound really good and are built like tanks
