What an awesome little earphone. Definitely going to be too bright for some, but if you want something less bassy and more "brighty", this is a darn solid pick. A great first entry into the market.

What do you mean by that? I think it would be good for filling in a particular niche in a collection; i.e. bright, resolving earphone.

Does that mean it wouldn't be good for someone who is treble sensitive?

It might be too sharp up top for a treble sensitive individual. Some light EQ or foam tips with a smaller opening would probably help.



Yeah. It's a fantastic cable. Totally overkill for something so tiny, and I love it.

Yeah, the cable is sublime. I already recommended that ADVANCED should add MMCX and 2-pin connnectors to it and sell it individually.

The sound of M4 is really like HD600. Very very similar. Even the low end rolloff. Love it so much!

For those who have tried both, how does the M4 stack up against the Soundmagic E80?

I'm about to cop one next week and I'm looking for a neutral to bright iem that's good for vocal-centric tracks that but not thin-sounding when it comes to the instruments.
