Adelaide, Australia meet?

Anybody from Adelaide interested in having a get Head-Fi together? I was going to meet up with D_4_Dog to listen to his RWA iMod, and I was wondering if there were more Adelaideans here and we can have a minimeet. At the moment, we have a Xin Supermicro IV, ER-4S, RWA iMod and Altec Lansing IM716.

It'd be good if we had some headphones to try with our portable devices, some more amps, and I'm after somebody with Shure E500's.

So who from this dozy little town is in?

Krool, pity you don't have the big k-1000's anymore, damn!

I would be interested in coming, I can bring my HHF-1's, some good old KSC-75's, Xin SuperMacro IV maxout OPA627, a Cowon iAudio X5 60Gb full of 320kbps mp3 and a few FLAC, a iAudio U3 2 Gb, and a COEM modded Lite DAC-AH (No source though, using PC optical out).

I have a mate who's son bought my DT-880's, he has a Xin Supermicro too and I think he would be keen.

erm... I have some k1000's...

Unfortunately my amp (little tripath chip based) is kinda mounted on a wooden block at the moment and is pretty fragile...


Also I don't any form of portable audio and I use my dads cd-player so I couldn't bring any sources.
Can't guarantee I could make it, I'm pretty busy these days, but I would be interested.

I do have my K-1000's still!!! Who said I got rid of them?

My whole K-1000 rig just went on loan to one of my good friends.
I'm not about to ask for them back for the sake of a meet as I have his Clearaudio.

And no, I can't bring the Ambient to the meet.

But it depends on the time.

anyway i'm on uni break for 1 more week, so i'm pretty much open anytime.

Look, if you can bring K-1000's, I may be able to grab the Aleph 3 for a day.

I am having my uni break as well!
So maybe my timetable is similar to yours.

BTW,I don't have an amplifier to drive my K701.Is that OK to bring it?

this is starting to sound interesting =) just wanna add, apart from iMod 'n iM716, i can also bring along a few other things if people are interested (HD595 w/ hwc mod, HD590 with headphile replacement cable, philips hp-1000, KSC-35, upgraded supermini III, or even laptop+echo indigo although i'd rather not since it WILL be heavy =P)

@ylbeethoven: we'll have a few portable amps there so i'm sure we can accomodate your K701s =P ... bellsprout 'n I have been wantin to try them for a while actually....

I was sure you sold them a while ago, they were for sale right? I thought they were sold. I could be thinking of someone else from ADL with them maybe, it was a good few months ago.
