Thanks for sharing your thoughts @eldss. It pains me to say this, but given regular updates have been non-existent for some time, I suspect you're right. It's regrettable that what seemed to be such a promising technology may never see the light of day.

Shame is what they don’t have taking our money and not delivering or facing who supported them.

Last communication I had from them was a year ago when they said Inearz would charge them for their universals that they intended to give backers of the Drum project. Their plan back then was to start selling the drum to the public and for every three they sold, they could afford to deliver o e to each backer. This was suppose to happen last January, so that paints the picture for you. I also remember one of their updates once said they were slowly beginning to deliver to customers, yet in Indiegogo it states the thing is still on prototyping stages. A long time ago also heard that Steve, the inventor of the ADEL stuff had burned through his budget with a ton of prototypes and never went into production. My guess is project is dead, they ran out of $ and their whole project was gimmick, some nice idea they had. I remember there being multiple updates, improvements the entire time, so it looks like they kept moving the goal post all the time, only had prototypes, had no iem manufacturing experience and then ran out of funds and are unwilling to move forward with this project and selling their ADEL modules doesn’t pay for this project either

lol, crooks won’t even pick up the phone. But they re still in business with Inearz.
About a year ago, I stopped by the InEarz booth at the NAMM show to listen to the demos that they had with ADEL modules in them. As I started listening, the owner of InEars came up to me and without warning ripped the earbuds out of my ears, making my ears ring because of the sudden vacuum that was created. I was so shocked that I didn't even know what to say. He looked at me with very hateful eyes and said "The show is over".... that was the weirdest and most unpleasant experience I've ever had.

How do these people find each other?.......

Because like kinds stick together.

His action was also akin to how they abandoned their Indigogo, except more like a magician in that they just vanished but without any pizazz like a poof of smoke.

I'm sorry to hear that nothing ever got delivered. But I cant say I'm surprised. Stuff like this is why I had no problem walking away from the audio world and only log onto here maybe once a year. Anytime I look back on my time, I wish I could forget the stress and mind games that I was put through. Customers should always come first.

That sentiment absolutely does not apply to my time with 64 or EE, just to be clear. Both are fantastic companies. Just for the record.

You're not alone brother. We'll just have to wait see if anything good comes of this (but I'm not hopeful).
