adding new products - no way to select dac/amp as a category.

while we're on the product section issues,
'Item Links (Optional)
New Link
Enter links for the manufacturer and/or a item page on the manufacturer's website.'
and the submit form http://www.head-fi.org/products/add/last/id/13543 doesn't let me submit in opera saying:
'Error: The url is either blank or does not contain a valid URL. Please make sure you include the full url, e.g. http://www.example.com/'

Thank you, huddler... as always.

That doesn't work in opera 11 or 12.

Wait... you can't select this category: Amp/DACs? I just did.

Wouldn't be a bad idea if there was, but it can't be done as far as I can see.

I'd say that equipment primarily designed to be used with headphones goes in the combo category, eg: The low-end Audio-gd gear.  The DACs with built-in headphone circuits, such as the Anedio should be listed just as a DAC, however.

look I agree, but that's still confusing classification wise, since you can't list all dac amps and then sort them by price or do whatever... you get the point.

please also log an issue with huddler on the product page problems... it's been happening since they added the feature :D
