adding a jack to SR-325

i've never done any DIY before but adding a plug seems pretty damn easy
I was looking at the Canare F-12, but I'd like to go for something different. The ratshack setup I have right now goes from my mini (1/8"?) from my A900 to my 0404 and just so i dont have to go to ratshack again I'd like to go with the mini on these sr325's

i was thinking of getting something like this

and is there any sort of picture or diagram that would help me out in seeing how to do this? it looks like i just solder two wires to two points in the jack...any suggestions on different jacks are welcome

I'm getting one of veritas' sr-325 without the plug on the end and i'm simply putting one on.
