Why isn't there much info on the AD1000x? With the few reviews that they have, it is mostly mixed. All I hear is to either buy the AD900x or go straight to the AD2000x? Is there something off about them? They seem to be the black sheep in the AD lineup. Can anyone here who has them comment on them? Would anyone get the AD1000x over the AD900x? The AD900x is currently $140 while the AD1000x is $300. Is the price increase warranted?

I currently own five Audio Technica headphones, unfortunately the AD1000X is not one of them, so I'm making my best guess.
I believe the AD1000X might be considered a little light on the bass, for some people's taste, but otherwise good headphones (best guess).

Do you happen to have the AD900x? If so, would you recommend them?

I have the ATH-A900X (the closed version), and for a time they were my preferred headphone, for listening to any type of audio, on my PC.
Might as well get the ATH-AD900X, you can always sell them off and upgrade in the future.
