I'm sooo undecided as to which of these to use in an Intersil HA-5002 buffered amp, for a Senn HD650.

The AD8610s I'd have to order, the AD843s I have here with me. My dilemma is, which will have the more 'emotive' sound (with acoustic/vocal music), yet a neutral/natural overall signature? For simplicity, money saving, and laziness, I'd rather rely upon opinions than order AD8610s and compare them.

Thanks

Also, would the AD843 tolerate class A biasing well, given the already high quiescent current?

After hearing several amps now with the 8610 in it, I still have yet to encounter a case where I don't find it rather unpleasant, but that's mostly with the cans I tend to use. With the Senns, it's not so bad, although I think the 843 is preferable.

Thanks! I guess I'll go with the AD843s one and for all.

Though... how about the AD744 ? Does it compare with the AD843 (both class A biased) ?

In the end my impulsiveness has decided in my place (after a bit of reading) so AD744K it is, one and for all.

I'm just in wait for a third one for the ground channel.
