So, i am in the market for a set of decent headphones. They will be used for music mainly, gaming sometimes. I hear good things about the ATH-AD700x, my only problems is in the US. these are 100$. In Canada they are 236$. My question is, are these still worth the irrational mark up? Is there something out there can i get can for around the 250 mark that will be better?

Buy the AD700X off Ebay, seems a lot cheap then buying locally.
 
Check out the Soundmagic HP200.

The SM HP150-200 are 377$ on amazon 300$ on ebay. out of my price range. Canadians are getting screwed lol.
Maybe ill just bite the bullet and buy the 700x.
