Now when I found out that the ground is equally important as L/R channels and that active ground is superior sounding, can this be applied to speaker amps. There seems to be a skepticism against it on other DIY sites and not really discussed in a serious way.

Since the JISBOS is better by far than anything I've ever heard and that it's very similar to the classic Hiraga Le Monstre, I'm temted to try it out. I have no good speaker amp. I have no good speakers either, but this could be a start.

Can I build Le Monstre with active ground à la headphone amps, and not have to build the heavy and expensive power section with car batteries and huge caps? Just rely on the superiority of active ground.

I'm no expert either, but even if the amp is split into mono blocks, there still has to be a common ground from preamp, CDP or DAP, hasn't it? Unless it's balanced all the way. I wonder how to use a dual split transformer for this amp. How shall the ground look like? I guess I have to do some reading. I've only built battery powered amps with virtual ground.
