I see. So i guess details, soundstage and air should be better in the 1670? But apart from tuning differences there's no improvement?
If you want a larger difference will be 1695Ti, it's driver is a metal coated one instead of the normal one in 1655/1650/1670

Saw a post on Twitter that mention if HS1697TI is the mass production of HS1695TI

Can't decide between the sony m9 or the 1695ti now. Both are very good iem's...
I've got a friend in the states who would like to sell his 1695Ti if you're interested :)

Here is more information on the 1697 along with the 1677 and 1657.
https://www.aiuto-jp.co.jp/information/entry_978.php

I hope they offer mmcx option, since all my aftermarket cables and other iem are all mmcx. I don't like using adapters~~
Another way will be that all audio comp go all-in on these pentaconn ear, then the market will finally be fixed with 4.4 and pentaconn-ear for long good. I will just once for all swap my gears to fit the trend.

I think those are probably Pentaconn Ear version of 1650/mass release 1655 and 1670.

While 1697 is the mass release version of 1695

I doubt there will be a mmcx version, unless you get them custom. From coverage of the 1655/1695 in Hong Kong, it seems the pentaconn ear connection is a better connection in terms of sound quality also.

From what I know Sennheiser IEM and some Custom IEM brand are using Pentaconn Ear.
Sennheiser seems to have good sound reviews for their IEM with Pentaconn Ear plug. Just that their plastic shell looks cheap which people complains.

is it a bit ridiculous that we're talking about some next iems from acoustune yet they don't even bother update it on their official website :D ?
btw.... 1695 is pretty top-tier to me , albeit a little harder to fully enjoy in my taste.

1695 is currently my favourite.
