I am expecting a pair of Abtss 1266 Phi TC headphones next week and I am wondering how a Danacable Lazuli Nirvana cable would compare to the JPS Super Conductor cable. As I have a Danacable Lazuli Nirvana cable to use I don’t have the itch to spend another $3000 on a JPS SC cable. Has anyone any experience on how these two cables compare?

I don’t know how the JPS SC cable sounds but the Danacable Lazuli Nirvana cable sounds spectacular with the Abyss. While I wait for my Niimbus amp I am listening to my Auralic Taurus Mk2 amp which is quite nice itself.

It been a long time since you asked but the SC is 16 gauge so the difference between the stock JPS cable and SC would be no bottle neck as power can travel more freely and it improves the girth of the music. The 1266 was designed on SC so it's always better in that respect. I use the stock and SC on my Meze Elite and the Elite is more detailed and clearer so picking out depth and separation is easy.

I am enjoying my Danacable Lazuli Nirvana with my Abyss 1266 Phi TC. It is far superior to the stock Abyss cable and it would not make sense to purchase an SC as the Nirvana cable does sound good.
